TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
Howdon Torque Limiters are now seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to work at the company’s head office in Stroud.
Salary: Negotiable
Permanent position + pension + 20 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays)
Job description: Provide support to Sales staff on product selection and application, working with customer specification using selection from standard and bespoke products. Produce CAD drawings using Fusion for tender and production purposes. Prepare costings for sales quotations. Assist in customer sales negotiation.
Support marketing activities, give customer technical presentations.
Work with Engineering Director in the Research and Development of existing and new products. Be involved in the design and testing of prototypes, including building special purpose testing equipment.
Manage the requirement for the manufacture of special drive components (in-house machine-shop) and assembly methods.
Qualifications: Engineering experience and/or Science or Engineering Graduate. Good communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD / CAM and works production. Some commercial / sales experience. Full driving licence.
